Dear all, as you may be aware, the FRV consultation has been extended and will not formally close until 11/10/17 and the DCA consultation process is due to begin imminently.
A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) has been published by the Trust on enews following the FRV consultation which can be viewed here: http://enews.emasnews.org.uk/issue-68-26-september-2017/staff-news/rota-consultation-your-questions-answered
The Trust are committed to this process and implementing new rotas across the region at the beginning of April 2018.
The feedback we have received from the Trust so far is that there have only been small pockets of staff engaging with the process.
As the DCA is starting to roll out it is really important that as many staff as possible engage during the consultation period by attending station meetings, requesting 1:1 meetings with your line manager and making your thoughts, feelings, concerns and suggestions known.
It’s only by every member actively participating in the consultation process that we can send a strong message to the Trust about what our members want from the roster review process and robustly challenge when this is not taken into account.
To borrow a phrase from the broadcasting industry: Vox Populi, Vox Dei (The voice of the people is the voice of God).
